GTU (Geek Town USA) runs www.gtu.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or contact us through it, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. “GTU”, “we” and “us” mean GTU, 555 Friendly St, Pontiac, MI 48341.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, phone number, company or business name, website address, number of locations, role, budget range and your message.
Our client support and onboarding forms also ask for business details, such as an address, target locations, current advertising platforms and notes on account access. Job applications ask for your name, contact details, location, availability and education, plus up to two files you upload, such as a resume and cover letter.
Information collected automatically
Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical details of each request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for and when. We use these to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies and similar tools, with your consent. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, how you arrived, device type and approximate location), and Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) tools to measure and improve our advertising. Some of this information reaches Meta through a server-side connection run by Stape. These tools set cookies or similar identifiers only after you allow them.
Company identification, with your consent. If you allow marketing cookies, we use ZoomInfo WebSights to match the IP address of your visit to the company it belongs to, so our sales team can see which businesses are interested in our services. ZoomInfo may link that company to business contact information in its own database, under its own privacy policy.
Before you choose. Until you make a choice in our cookie banner, analytics and advertising cookies stay off. Google’s tags may still send basic signals without cookies, such as a page view with no identifier attached, so we can count visits.
Hashed contact details. If you’ve allowed advertising cookies and submit a form, your email address and phone number may be sent to Google Ads in hashed (scrambled) form, so we can see whether an ad led to your inquiry. Google doesn’t receive them in readable form.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It checks signals from your browser and device, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. We also use your IP address briefly to limit repeated submissions.
Videos
Some pages include videos hosted by Vimeo or Streamable. Nothing loads from those services until you press play. Once you do, the video service may collect information under its own privacy policy.

Who we share it with
We don’t sell the information you give us. We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only for those purposes:

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of GTU, our clients or others. If GTU merges with or is acquired by another company, information may transfer as part of that deal.
