Paid Search Specialist


We’re looking to add a Paid Search Specialist to our team at GTU! If you’re creative, perceptive, and really understand how to build effective campaigns with great ad copy, this position is for you. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and executing digital initiatives in support of our client’s overall brand strategies and goals. You should have a diverse background executing Google Ads such as Search, Display, Shopping, Video, and Remarketing campaigns while being able to navigate an entrepreneurial environment and be willing to toggle between strategy and execution daily. In this role, you will bring a fresh and experienced perspective and explore new ways to engage audiences and hit KPIs.

  • Responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies, programs, and content in support of yearly goals across search, display, video, and more
  • Manage campaign execution, optimization, and measurement (metrics, tracking, reporting)
  • Plan and manage monthly digital budgets
  • Stay current with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging channels. Then implement new ideas to leverage those findings as part of clients’ campaign strategies
  • Responsible for understanding the competitive landscape, client mindset, and business needs to inform digital strategy & execution

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in digital marketing
  • Proficiency with Google fundamentals (Ads, Analytics, Google Business Profile, Optimize, Marketing Platform, Google Tag Manager, and Campaign Manager)
  • Certified in Google AdWords and Analytics
  • Experience in setting up conversion tracking, creating marketing pixels, and UTM tracking
  • Ability to measure and make recommendations using performance measurement tools, metrics, and other reporting dashboards
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms and trends
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Passion for learning and adopting new technologies and techniques, testing new ways to engage clients and drive results
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment with the ability to manage several client accounts and campaigns
  • Ability to create compelling digital content with an eye for copywriting and aesthetic sensibilities
  • Experience with multi-location client accounts is a plus
